                Today,

I feel tired, weary and low.

I look out and see the rain and wind.

Today,

 I feel weak, drained and alone.

I look out and see a child smile.

at this moment I see hope.

Today,

I feel hope, a song in my heart and warmth.

I see you in the face of a child.

Today,

I feel a glow and a spark in my soul.

I see you in the face of my neighbour.

Today,

I know no matter how I am feeling,

Know matter how bad things are,

Are there besides me.

Are walking my path with me.

How I praise you and thank you 

for helping me, picking me up and loving me.
